CSR Reports

In Japan an increasing number of corporations are publishing CSR Reports pursuant to the Sustainability Reporting Guidelines developed by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Moreover, companies are more frequently utilizing external audits to validate their CSR disclosure and report how CSR is being woven into core business operations. Significant steps, yet CSR reporting in Japan is nevertheless in its infancy. A standardized format has yet to emerge.
